History Quilter Podcast Episode 36 Classroom Management

I recorded a new episode last Sunday but have not had a chance until now to publish this blogpost about it.  History Quilter Podcast Episode 36 where I talk about Classroom Management and is a recap of my first week of student teaching is now available on iTunes, Podbean and Stitcher Radio.

If there was anything in the podcast that you would like to know more about, please comment or send me an e-mail.  My apologies for not having the time to write up a detailed post about the episode with links, photos, etc.

Hope you've all had a good week. Right now I'm looking forward to the probability that with a three day weekend, I'll have some time to play with fabric - I am in definitely in need of it!

Have a great Saturday,
Susan

  2. You kept me great company on my commute to work and back today! I just got home and wanted to leave a comment right away before I forget what I wanted :) I need you for a friend! I need people like you to keep being positive! And I'd like to hear your teaching experiences in your podcasts I think it's pretty interesting! I think it's pretty nice that you're trying to guide the kids to be able to learn a simpler way. I adore your enthusiasm and spirit to power through the rough first days! It only gets better with time! Hope this week is not as tiring as the last one was.

  4. Hey Susan,
I am also loving hearing about your journey in the classroom. I teach first grade, so my classroom management is much different than yours, but I do think it can make the difference in your experience as a teacher. I try really hard to remember to have some fun with the kids, that seems to help me out a lot!

    Enjoy!

  5. I finally got to listen to this episode! Thank you for the well wishes. It's been nearly 2 weeks since my surgery and I am feeling a lot better, but still looking at a ridiculously long recovery. Congratulations on your first week with your students. I know you are going to do great!
